Groton Community Youth Forum
The Groton Youth Commission is
hosting a Community Youth Forum on Wednesday, June 5, 2013, 7:00
p.m. at the Groton Town Hall on Conger Blvd. for all Groton
residents. Information from a youth development survey taken
by 79% (365) of Groton students 6th through 12th grade will be
shared. In addition data from the County Youth Services needs
assessment "the State of Tompkins County Youth" will be
shared. Come learn about youth drug and alcohol rates,
and use of technology. Then work with school officials,
elected officials, youth workers, County Youth Services staff, and
others to create a plan to make Groton's strengths stronger and
improve areas that are weak, to make Groton's youth grow up to be
strong, happy, successful, contributing citizens. For more
