We love our library!

  • We want to encourage curiosity about the world around us.

  • We have almost 9,000 books in our collection, including ebooks and audio books on the Sora app.

  • We offer a great selection of high quality databases for academic information.

  • We provide research instruction and support.

  • We work hard to encourage reading both for information and enjoyment.

Library Policies:

  • Students may visit the library during study halls with a pass pre-signed by library staff.

  • Teachers may send students with a pass to pick out a book, use library resources, or work with the Librarian on research projects.

  • Students may check out 3 books at a time; more if needed for research/school purposes.

  • Books are checked out for a period of 3 weeks.

  • All books may be renewed in person for another 3 weeks unless there is a waiting list.

  • Students with overdue books will receive reminders in homeroom.

  • Seriously overdue books may need to be paid for.

  • Students may place a hold on a desired book using Destiny, our online catalog.

  • All students have access to ebooks and audio books through Sora, our shared ebook and audio book app.

  • If a desired book is not found in our collection or on Sora, we have access to inter library loan that we can use to request a book from other school libraries in New York State.
