The OCC College Fair is this coming Monday, October 5th and is open to all 10-12 graders!
If students are planning to attend, they need to let Mrs. Carr know by Monday morning.
We are trying to plan how much food to order for dinner. We are planning to have pizza and wings.

Congrats to the Boys Varsity Soccer team on their 3-1 win over Moravia! Highlights from the night include goals scored by Timmy Forehand, Brennan Jackson and Teddy Dah with assists coming from Silas St. Claire and Luke McCormick. The win secured the teams spot in post season play in the sectional tournament!
The girls Varsity Soccer team won last night in double overtime vs. Moravia 1-0!! Lone goal scored by Senior Erica Miranda from an assist by Freshman Marissa Kastenhuber off a corner from Stella Holl!
This win secured their spot into Sectional play. The girls play again on Monday away vs. Cincy and at home Tuesday for their senior night vs. Marathon.

In a high-energy, hard-fought matchup on September 29, the Groton JV volleyball team battled through a tough three-set thriller against Spencer.
Groton came out strong in the opening set, setting the tone with sharp offensive play and solid court coverage to secure a commanding 25–16 win. Spencer answered back with equal intensity in the second set, claiming it 25–16 to force a decisive third set. In a gritty, back-and-forth final set, Groton pushed hard until the end before Spencer narrowly closed out the match with a 25–19 victory. With the result, Groton moves to an overall record of 7–3 and an IAC mark of 4–2.

Last week the fall Varsity teams participated on Groton's 1st Annual Media Night! It was a great night for all the athletes to get together and have some fun!

The Cross Country teams attended the infamous Baldwinsville Invitational on 9/26/26, where more than 1000 athletes competed.
Anthony Justice had the best Groton place of the day, taking 4th overall in a field of 161 runners. Cole Garrity placed 10th in that same boys modified race.
In the Modified Girls Race of 120 runners, Lauren Belcher took 33rd and Lydia Stauderman took 48th.
Alison Belcher had the best Varsity place of the day for Groton, taking 16th out of 175 runners in a personal-best time. Liesl Moll and Bri Adsitt also had breakthrough performances in that same race.
Caleb Downing ran a personal best as well. His time of 18 minutes and 40 seconds for the 5k race placed him 36th out of 198 varsity boys.
Next up will be the prestigious McQuaid Invitational on Saturday in Rochester! Good luck!
