Due to our snow day on December 2, the 6–8th Grade Winter Concert has been rescheduled to Thursday, December 18, 2025 at 6:30 PM in the Groton Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium. 🎺🎷

To help families enjoy both events, we’re also shifting the time of our GES family night. Join us for “Not So Silent Night” at Groton Elementary School (516 Elm Street) on Thursday, December 18th from 5:00–6:30 PM for crafts, games, music, and holiday magic! ✨

All students in UPK3–Grade 5 are welcome and must be accompanied by an adult.

Come enjoy a festive evening at GES and then head over to the Jr./Sr. High School to cheer on our 6th–8th grade musicians at the Winter Concert! 🎄🥁❤️

This holiday season, we’re partnering with Golisano Children’s Hospital to help bring smiles to kids spending the holidays in the hospital.

We’re collecting new:
🖍️ Crayola crayons
📚 Coloring books for all ages
🧸 Infant & toddler toys
💫 Sensory items

📢 Reminder: GES Parent-Teacher Conferences – Friday, December 5th

On Friday, December 5th, Groton Elementary School will be holding Parent-Teacher Conferences.

There will be NO SCHOOL for students in UPK-3 through 5th grade at Groton Elementary School.

The Groton Jr/Sr High School (Grades 6–12) will operate on a normal schedule with a typical school day.

If you have any questions, please contact your child’s classroom teacher.

Groton Central Schools Music Department is excited to kick off a season of music with three Winter Concerts! ❄️🎶

📅 Tuesday, December 2nd – 6–8th Grade Winter Concert
Join us in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium at 6:30 PM as our middle school musicians share festive favorites and show off all they’ve been working on.

📅 Tuesday, December 9th – High School Winter Concert
Our Wind Ensemble & High School Chorus will take the stage at 6:30 PM in the Jr./Sr. High School Auditorium for an evening of beautiful winter music.

📅 Tuesday, December 16th – Groton Combined Winter Concert
Enjoy performances by the 5th Grade Band, 4th & 5th Grade Chorus, and the Groton Community Band at 6:30 PM in the High School Auditorium.

Bring your family and friends and help us celebrate the hard work of our student (and community!) musicians. We can’t wait to see you there! 🎺🎤🎄
